During Bernie Sander’s Senate filibuster of tax cuts for the ultra-rich, I thought it would be appropriate to share a presentation I’ve put together on the economic inequality. It’s a segment of a larger presentation on neo-liberal governance I’ve given a few times. The presentation is pretty straightforward number-crunching + graphs, nothing special. Might as well check out the original speech Sanders gave:
I’ve been familiar with Sanders for a while, he is often included in lefty documentaries as an anti-corporate social democrat. As an anarcho-communist, I tend to keep my nose out of the bureaucratic malaise social democrats like Sanders seem to thrive in. But as far as an accessible, spirited criticism of present day inequality, there are few that match him.
